Hazardous Waste Reporting for a Confidential National Retailer
Starting in 2005, APTIM (and its predecessor companies) began hazardous waste notification and report preparation for a confidential national retailer.
To support this confidential national retail client’s hazard waste compliance program, APTIM has:
- Submitted more than 70,000 total annual and biennial hazardous waste reports
- Completed more than 15 years of hazardous waste report preparations, submittals, and notifications
Project History
APTIM has a long and successful history of providing hazardous waste compliance support to our commercial clients. Since beginning work with this client, our Hazardous Waste Compliance Program has grown to include multiple clients and an array of compliance services.
For said client, our team of environmental compliance experts standardized processes and procedures and trained personnel on federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. We maintained relationships with hazardous waste regulators over time and acted on our client’s behalf to help them prepare for future compliance. We created methods of streamlining report submittals, including improving processes with hazardous waste regulators, to reduce the level of effort for our clients.
For example, several years ago, APTIM worked with hazardous waste regulators in Tennessee to reduce signatory requirements for their paper submittals. We also beta-tested the electronic hazardous waste system currently in use for Arizona.
